Royal Doulton Toby Mugs

These 19 Toby mugs were made by Royal Doulton between 1946 and 1994. The designs include the BeefEater, Long John Silver, Don Quixote, Christopher Columbus, Rip Van Winkle and others.

Toby mugs usually sell for between $50 and $100 on eBay, but the rare ones can go much higher. The starting bid of $999 is good value for 19 mugs.

Franklin Mint Dolls Collection

This collection of 15 limited edition Franklin Mint dolls includes a rare 1994 “Blushing Rose”. Certificates and original boxes are also included.

I’m not sure why they picked a starting bid of $1,597, it might be a exchange rate issue. On that topic, the seller makes a good point about United States auctions being cheap for Europeans now.

Whisky Jug Collection

You could argue for hours over the correct spelling, whisky or whiskey, but what’s more interesting is this collection of over 200 jugs. There is a huge variety of colors and designs, and almost all are branded with logos.

Similar jugs usually sell for over $30 on eBay, so the starting bid of $6,999 is modest.

Hummel Figurine, Plate, and Bell Collection

This is a surprising auction because it so large for a first timer, and you get to see the sellers which is even rarer. There is no listing photo so you’ll have to visit it to see this collection of Hummel porcelain.

There are about 100 figurines and dolls, 15 bells, 26 plates, and 3 plaques. The plates and bells come with their original boxes too. After checking the prices of individual pieces, $30,000 seems really ambitious, but good luck to them.
