This is one of those advertising gimmicks that takes off and becomes incredibly popular. The California Raisins first appeared in a commercial in 1987, and by 1989 they had apparently made more money than the raisin farmers who commissioned them.

This collection of 70 California Raisins collectibles has a Buy It Now price of $999.

This is a large collection of 17 Beatrix Potter figurines. There’s Hunca Munca, The Old Woman, Tabitha Twitchit, and more.

The Buy It Now price is $2,000, but the seller believes the collection to be worth over $2,500.

Hummels are porcelain figurines made in Germany. They were first sold in 1935 and have become very popular with collectors.

This collection 92 of Hummel figurines has a starting bid of $1,250, but the estimate is between $2,500 and $4,000.

Pocket Dragons are tiny resin figurines of smiling dragons. There are over 400 different designs, and they only recently ceased production. This collection of 236 dragons includes 41 signed by the designer, Real Musgrave.

Most dragons sell for under $20 but the rarest dragon has sold for over $2,000. Over $6,000 was spent building this collection so the final bid should go a lot higher.
