Auction Surprise

This is a group of collectible Japanese dolls and some miniature doll house furniture. From the photos, there appears to be about 16 dolls and more than 20 pieces of furniture in this collection. They are in mint condition and packed in some interesting wooden boxes with Japanese writing on them.

The starting bid is $999.99, so you might save a penny on a thousand dollar auction. Awesome!

This collection of 15 limited edition Franklin Mint dolls includes a rare 1994 “Blushing Rose”. Certificates and original boxes are also included.

I’m not sure why they picked a starting bid of $1,597, it might be a exchange rate issue. On that topic, the seller makes a good point about United States auctions being cheap for Europeans now.

I enjoy finding items on eBay that I’ve never seen before, like Hopi Kachina dolls. These wood carved dolls are handmade by Hopi Indians, Native Americans located in northeast Arizona.

This collection of over 200 dolls is great value at $3,800. You could easily pay more for a similar number of boring plastic dolls.

Over 450 various dolls, including Barbie and Shirley Temple. The seller is also throwing in doll clothes, stands, and assorted parts.

Apparently, the seller spent over $20,000 building this collection, but they have a starting bid of only $6,750. Ah well, it’s better to collect coins or stamps if you want to make money in this game.
