I’m not sure why they picked a starting bid of $1,597, it might be a exchange rate issue. On that topic, the seller makes a good point about United States auctions being cheap for Europeans now.

This is a collection of 28 mint condition Remington Bullet Knives, with original boxes and paperwork. There is a knife for each year from 1982 to 2006.

These Remington knives are popular with collectors, and while most sell for around $50, the rarer knives can sell for more than $500. The starting bid is a modest $950, an average of $34 per knife.
